Perfectino, coatings green?

The term ecological is often misunderstood and misused.

How to judge whether a surface is really environmentally friendly?

The ecological footprint of a coating thickness of 3 cm x 30 will be more important than covering the same type in 1mm thick. In addition to manufacturing costs, we must take into account the costs of energy and pollution arising from its transportation, its handling, and its implementation.
The report 'green' material can not be evaluated only when all the factors in its manufacturing process and during the placing on the market are taken into account.
Each individual component of the production line must in turn be evaluated using the same criteria.

Among the most significant criteria:

  • The toxicity of the components and their development
  • The energy used to manufacture
  • The energy used for transport and distribution
  • The energy used to implement
  • The rate of recycling of materials

The sum of all these factors into connection with the performance of the material gives an accurate assessment of the ecological level of a material.

Materials Perfectino not intended to be 100% green, but we want to provide the best possible compromise between environmental, technical reliability, and durability.

The development of materials Perfectino follows a strict specifications:

  1. Choosing non-toxic components, both for the environment to the user. A total absence of any VOC (volatile organic components) or polluting waste. About volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
  2. Choice of materials requiring the least amount of energy in their manufacture. A portland cement clinker requires a cooking 1450C °, cooking requires a limestone from 800 to 900C °, the clay does not require cooking.
  3. Perfectino materials are developed mainly based on lime, clay, and elements derived directly from nature. The use of cement is limited to a percentage less than 5% and only in specific types of coatings.
  4. Optimized performance. With thicknesses varying between 1 and 2mm thick, the yields of our coatings vary between 0.5 kg and 2Kgs/m2. Costs in transportation and handling are greatly reduced.
  5. Implementations. Although some finishes can be achieved mechanically, all materials can pose a manual, without specialized tools.
  6. Perfectino coatings are non-polluting and can be recycled free. Sheets and product implementations are distributed in electronic form, and prints using recycled materials.

Our approach to solutions that respect the environment stems from a personal desire to change our habits and reflexes.

This is done gradually. We will not sacrifice all the advances of modern technology to return to the Stone Age, but we can find the compromises that combine modern comfort with a common responsibility to future generations.

Our materials want to witness that this is possible in the industry where we operate.

We welcome your suggestions to improve ourselves: contact@perfectino.com
